About Us

Charles City, Virginia

A James River cabinet shop.

SH Cabinets Co. is a cabinet shop at 3210 Roxbury Rd in Charles City, Virginia, in the farm country along the James River between Richmond and Williamsburg. We build solid wood floating vanities, TV consoles and wall units, bar cabinets, console tables, nightstands and bookshelves to order and ship them free across the United States.

Why solid wood

Old Virginia houses are full of woodwork that has lasted for centuries. Solid hardwood can be sanded, re-oiled and repaired, so our pieces can too.

We keep natural edges wherever we can, so each piece shows the grain of the tree it came from.

What we build

Vanities & TV consoles — floating bathroom vanities, TV consoles and stands, record stands and console tables.
Tables & nightstands — coffee tables, end tables, nightstands, a dressing table, desks and a pedestal dining table.
Bar cabinets & bookshelves — a bar cabinet, a TV wall unit, wine shelves, sculpted bookshelves and tree shelves.
Benches & decor — entry and patio benches, lounge chairs, coat racks, floor lamps and wall sculpture.
